You should come on over to [info]sailormoonland and join the fun. If you love the series you will love this community! I know what you're thinking... I don't have time for a land community, but it really doesn't take that much time, maybe 1-2 hours a week at the most and you get to do neat things like make graphics, fanmixes, write stories, and do fun puzzles. ^_^  So come join [info]sailormoonland and tell them [info]lovely_lunarian sent you! (Yes, I realize that I sound like a bad used car commercial)

[info]sm_fanswap  is a Sailor Moon Fanart/Fanfic Exchange community.  After a successful fest last year, we are trying again with a prompt fest!
  • You can prompt AU, AR, canon, rare pair, slash, femmeslash, or whatever you want.  I figure this'll make everyone happy. ^__^
  • Anyone is allowed to prompt regardless of whether or not they participate in the drawing/writing.  So when prompting starts, pimp everywhere you can!  The more prompts the better!
  • Everyone will be limited to a total of 5 prompts.  The only exceptions to this rule will be those who were going to participate in the 2009 2nd round that got canceled.  They are welcome to submit a total of 8 prompts.  They will also be eligible for extra time when it comes to completing their prompts should they choose to use it.
  • Only one person will be able to claim a prompt.  It'll be first-come, first-serve.
  • You'll only be allowed to claim one prompt at a time.  HOWEVER, once you turn in a completed fanart or fanfic, you'll be able to see what prompts are still available.  If you choose to claim another prompt, have at it.  Claiming will remain open until the day before submissions are due.

I originally planned on making this an episodic video for "Romance under the Moon! Usagi's First Kiss!" but I decided there wasn't really enough footage. So this is just a little something I threw together, mostly so they could dance during the instrumental waltz-y parts. Set to "You Are the Moon" by The Hush Sound.

veve_w 		Few notes first:

- It's massive. The full presentation is about 30 megs (10 meg animation, 20 music). If I had a better machine, I would turn it into a quicktime/flash movie to compress the size.
- Music starts automatically, and I'm probably violating a handful of web standard rules on top of that. I tried to delay it without editing the midi, but failed. If you have a computer that freezes, download each file individually and play it on your home drive.

The story:

For anyone who has ever talked to me, you probably know that I'm of the opinion that the boy has issues about self-worth. The idea that Mamoru comes to terms with his identity as heir to the Golden Kingdom has been dancing in my head for a while. In the following sequence, Earth offers him a choice of accepting or declining his birthright. Mamoru accepts, and the Earth acknowledges. It's A private and personal exchange that has no need for witnesses.

The results? Looks more to me like he came out of an explosion.

rosesablaze 		I've seen a couple of fanfictions portraying Haruka hating Mamoru.  Where does this come from?  Is there evidence in canon?  I know she dislikes men, but so does Rei and she doesn't seem to hate Mamoru...
